Plan. Organise. Achieve.

High School is a stressful place to be! The workload is intense, you’re constantly making big life decisions, there’s a pressure to succeed and before long, achieving at school slowly becomes a cornerstone of every conversation.

We want to help students take the stress out of it all! Though High School can present it’s challenges, it also offers the perfect opportunity to build strong foundations and skills that can be used throughout life. We believe we’ve developed the learning tools to help students succeed and take control of their lives not only during school but higher education, work or any high pressure environment they find themselves in.

We want to empower students to succeed, grow in confidence, acquire better work-life balance and see … The Big Picture.

The Big Picture offers specialised programs that develop focus and productivity, enabling students to reach their full potential through holistic learning structures and tools.

We teach them to perfect their executive functioning skills – forward thinking, strategising, planning, organising, time management, prioritising and shifting between situations, thoughts and tasks. All the skills we also use in our day-to-day lives to help us control our emotions, manage our lives more effectively and reduce stress.

By students connecting the puzzle pieces together – identifying challenges, developing plans of action, pacing their efforts, we know they can achieve real, tangible results in whatever they put their mind to.

If one or more of the following statements apply, The Big Picture Program is designed for you!

“I need to develop better and more consistent work habits.”

“I could prepare and plan more effectively for exams and assessments.”

“I know I am capable of better results but don’t know how to get there.”

“I find high school and its academic demands stressful”

“Will I be prepared for HSC and how will I cope with the stress in year 12?”

“I could better organise both my work and personal life to improve my work-life balance.”

“I’m not sure how to optimize my study methods.”

“I could manage my time a lot better.”

“I am unable to pace myself – I procrastinate and then collapse at the finish line.”

“I just don’t know where to begin!”

If one or more of the following statements apply, The Big Picture Program is designed for you!

“ Stress and anxiety levels amongst our students are on the increase.”

“ Many of our students lack the executive functioning and coping skills to meet the pressures of high school.”

“Our teachers are stretched to their limits with the academic curriculum”

“ An improvement in organizational, time management and planning skills will better assist our students in optimizing their study methods and preparing for their assessment/exam blocks.”

“ Our students should learn how to find better work-life balance.”

“ We are constantly looking for new ways to improve our school’s results without placing increased pressure on our student’s wellbeing.”

“Being able to focus, hold, and work with information in mind, filter distractions, and switch gears is like having an air traffic control system at a busy airport to manage the arrivals and departures of dozens of planes on multiple runways. In the brain, this air traffic control mechanism is called executive functioning, a group of skills that helps us to focus on multiple streams of information at the same time, and revise plans as necessary.”
